What does it mean to be part of Zephyr
Zephyr is an exclusive premiere guild that provides players of FTO a unique experience in terms of community and opportunity. Zephyr invests a lot into each member providing game knowledge, gear, copper, and a place to call home. In return, we have high expectations of our membership.
Wearing Zephyr’s guild tag is an honor not bestowed on that many folks. Recognize that every action you take in the game, especially being such a small population, it is representative of our guild. By being respectable players, we will bring honor and prestige to Zephyr.
Zephyr has 3 core values that drive every process within the guild.
Loyalty-
The most important value. Loyalty to your guild and to your guildmates is the primary value we expect of our members.
Teamwork-
There’s no room for envy, greed, or lies in the ranks of Zephyr. We play to have fun and to benefit our guildmates. If your mate just won a chaos sword, you can bet that he will be by your side working until you have your own chaos sword too.
Stewardship-
Members of Zephyr are a part of not only the guild community, but the community of FTO as a whole. As such, we must exercise the same amount of care and consideration no matter where we are or who we interact with. Being a good steward of the server by helping new players and one another will promote a healthy guild culture that will last. This includes not exploiting or divulging game secrets or bugs.
Goals of Zephyr
Zephyr aims to be the top guild of US1, with no exceptions. How?
-By being a guild that supports a healthy server economy.
We will always offer a fair market price on our gear, materials, and services.
-Securing top positions on leveling leaderboards
Members of Zephyr will be able to influence the server more-so than a guild of 100 level 20s.
-Being a force of positivity
Members of Zephyr will act as mentors of the community, helping new players when possible and when feasible. This includes not exploiting or divulging game secrets or bugs.
Expectations of Membership
Be respectful (and respectable) members of the FTO community.
Do not spoil secrets for other players. Helping players is not spoiling!
Do not exploit or divulge any bugs or loopholes within the game.
Participation in guild events and guild fundraising/material collection.
Always be aware of the Guild tab.
What can Zephyr offer Members
In addition to the intrinsic values and benefits of Zephyr, the guild also offers a couple other tangible perks to members
-Crafting Space and Storage
Within the guildhall there is a crafting room complete with a Safe (personal bank), a crafting chest (personal crafting material storage), as well as every crafting table available. Some of these features do not work entirely at the moment, but they will be available for use as soon as the bugs are worked out.
-Living Space
Within the guildhall, there will be barracks style living quarters. Right now, the game is bugged to not allow this function, but soon, these living quarters will be ready to be moved into. Only players with a rank of member or above can stay within the guildhall.
Zephyr leadership has secured individual player housing on Woodmore. These houses are property of the guild. There are bugs within the game that prevents leadership from properly implementing this living community, but as the game becomes smoother, these lots will become available. No discussion has been had concerning the details of these lots. But they exist.
-Gear
Players can be given a variety of gear including leveling, gold find, and magic find gear. This gear is property of the guild. Once you are finished using the equipment, please return it to a guild officer or leader.
-Future Player Programs
A small number of other player programs are currently being sorted out and will be announced, as they are ready to be released.
Progression within Zephyr
All members of Zephyr, regardless of rank, will have access to the guild house in order to use the amenities. To live within the guild hall, you must be holding the rank of at least Member. Promotions of the membership will happen consistently and as they are earned. Below I have listed the basic requirements of each rank, however members should know that their promotion lies also on their level of dedication to the guild, adherence to the 3 main values of Zephyr, and the merit of the player.
Recruit- The introductory position of Zephyr. Priviledges and expectations are at the lowest point in this rank.
Member- Level 35 required (Level 30 with strong recommendation). Been a member of Zephyr for at least 7 days. Members have the privilege of housing within the Guild Hall or other guild owned properties. Additionally, members have higher expectations than recruits.
Officer- Special appointed position. These members are typically veteran members of Zephyr who display exceptional levels of leadership within the FTO community and within Zephyr.
Treasurer and Trade Master- A position that helps to maintain Zephyr’s finances and performs trade transactions on behalf of the entire guild.
Class Leader-A official position within Zephyr that denotes the player of each class that has both the most experience and knowledge of the class. The intention is that new players can gain game knowledge regarding the specifics of their class from this player.
